How to connect the FAVI feed with easySales: product feed setup

List your furniture and home products on FAVI with an easySales feed: one shop per FAVI country, shipping, categories FAVI can place and the Feed URL.

What the FAVI feed does

FAVI is a comparison site for furniture and home products, with a site in each of its countries — favi.ro, favi.pl, favi.hu, favi.bg and others. Shoppers browse products there and click through to your online shop to buy. easySales builds the product file FAVI reads — names, categories, prices, images and links from your online shop — and keeps it at a fixed address, the Feed URL.

Three things to know before you begin:

  • One shop, one FAVI country. Prices go out in your shop's currency, as they are, and the texts in your shop's language. Connect the feed on the shop that sells in that FAVI country — a shop in lei for favi.ro, in złoty for favi.pl.
  • FAVI lists a product only when it can place it in its own categories. Each product sends one category name from your shop, so specific names matter — see Step 3.
  • Create the feed on your online shop's tab, not on Virtual Shop. FAVI sends shoppers to each product's page in your shop, and only your online shop's products carry that link.

Step 1 — Connect the feed

Go to Products → Online Shops → Feed and choose the tab of your online shop. Press Connect on the FAVI card. The Connection tab has these fields:

The Connection tab of the FAVI feed, with Shipping Country Romania, Shipping service Curier, Shipping 19.99, Currency Romanian Leu, Exclude products without stock Yes, Exclude categories Dormitor and Promoții, and the Delete and Save buttons; a Feed rules tab sits next to Connection.
Shipping and stock settings on the Connection tab.
Field What goes in it
Shipping Country The country you deliver to — the country of your FAVI site.
Shipping service The name of your delivery, for example Curier.
Shipping and Currency The delivery cost and its currency, for example 19.99 and Romanian Leu. Type a plain number, or 0 for free delivery. Use your shop's currency.
Exclude products without stock Yes leaves products without stock out of the file. With No, they go in as out of stock.
Exclude categories Optional. Categories whose name should not be sent — see Step 3.

Press Save.

Step 2 — Give FAVI your Feed URL

Back on the Feed page, the card shows the Feed URL and, once the file is ready, Last generated with its date and time. The first file is ready within the hour after you save.

The connected FAVI card on the Feed page: Feed URL https://easy-sales.com/feed/60/8f3k2m9q4t/Favi, Last generated with a date and time, Connected and Edit.
Copy the Feed URL and give it to FAVI.

When Last generated appears, copy the Feed URL and send it to your FAVI contact. Once your shop is active on FAVI, the address shows in your FAVI dashboard under Settings → XML Feed; to change it later, send the new address to your FAVI contact.

Step 3 — Get the categories right

For each product, easySales sends one category: the first of the product's categories that is not in Exclude categories, with its name as it is in your shop. FAVI uses it to place the product in its own categories, and a product it cannot place is not listed.

  • Use specific category names for the type of product — Beds, Sofas, Dining tables.
  • Exclude general categories — Promotions, New, or a room such as Bedroom — so the specific category is the one sent.

What goes into the file

Each active product of the shop is one offer in the file, with:

In the file Taken from
ID The product's ID in easySales
Title, description and link The product and its page in your shop
Image The product's first image
Price The sale price with VAT, in your shop's currency
Availability In stock or out of stock
Brand, EAN and MPN The product's brand, EAN and SKU
Category The first category that is not excluded
Shipping The Shipping Country, Shipping service, Shipping and Currency values
One offer per product

To leave other products out, add a rule under Feed rules with exclude product from feed. To change the price for FAVI, write the rule on sale price or tax rate.

When something does not look right

Symptom What to do
The Feed URL answers "Feed generation in progress..." The first file is not ready yet. Wait until Last generated appears on the card.
FAVI does not list products of a category The category name is too general. Exclude it, so a more specific category is sent, or give the products a more specific category in your shop.
Prices on FAVI are in the wrong currency The feed sends your shop's currency. Connect the feed on the shop that sells in that FAVI country.
Products have no link on FAVI The feed was created on the Virtual Shop tab. Delete it and connect it on your online shop's tab.
A product is missing from the feed Check that it is active, that it has stock when Exclude products without stock is Yes, and that no rule excludes it.
FAVI rejects product images FAVI wants real product photos of at least 600 × 600 px, without text or watermarks. The first image of each product is the one sent.
