How to set up the eMAG integrated courier in easySales
Set up the eMAG Romania, Hungary or Bulgaria courier in easySales: what to connect first, every field on the form, multiple pick-up points, and how AWBs are generated.
What the eMAG courier is
The eMAG courier lets you generate AWBs for your eMAG orders using the carrier already contracted on your eMAG seller account. You do not sign a separate courier contract and you do not hold separate credentials — easySales asks eMAG to issue the AWB, and eMAG's own carrier collects the parcel.
Before you connect
The eMAG marketplace connected, for the same country
The courier reuses that connection's credentials. Without it the Connect button on the courier tile stays disabled.
A courier account on eMAG
Set it up in your eMAG seller account first. Only accounts that are active and handle orders appear in easySales — an eMAG account limited to returns will not show up.
Your pick-up address
Sender name, phone, street and the locality the carrier collects from. All are required and all are printed on the label.
One connection per pick-up point
If you dispatch from more than one warehouse, plan on one connection for each, named after the place.
Step 1 — Connect the eMAG marketplace first
Go to Configuration → Integrations → Couriers and search for emag. You will find three tiles, told apart by the country flag in the corner.
Step 2 — Fill in the connection
Press Connect on the tile for your country. The form opens in the right-hand column.
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Connection Name | Required. Your own label for this pick-up point. It is the only thing shown when you choose between connections while generating an AWB, so make it specific. |
| Marketplace Account | Which eMAG account this connection borrows credentials from. Optional, but see the warning below if you have more than one. |
| Courier Account | Required. The carrier contracted on your eMAG account — most sellers see Sameday, eMAG Courier, Cargus, Fan Courier or DPD here. The list is read from eMAG each time the form opens, so it always reflects what eMAG currently offers you. Only accounts that are active and configured for orders appear. |
| Locality | Required. The locality the carrier collects from. Type at least a few letters to search. |
| AWB Format | Required. The page size of the generated label: A4, A5 or A6. Most sellers use A4 or A6 — pick A6 if you print to a label printer. |
| Legal Entity | Required. Whether the sender is a company (Juridical) or a private individual (Physical). Almost every seller is Juridical. |
| Sender Name | Required. The name printed on the label as the sender. |
| Sender Contact | Filled in for you from the sender name and not editable. Greyed out is expected, not a fault. |
| Sender Phone | Required. The number the carrier calls about the collection. |
| Sender Street | Required. The street address the parcel is collected from. |
Step 3 — Choose the delivery options
Everything below the sender address describes the service eMAG's carrier should perform. All five dropdowns are required and all five default to No.
| Option | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Saturday delivery | Asks the carrier to deliver on Saturdays. Availability and any surcharge are eMAG's, not ours. | No |
| Return documents | The carrier brings back a signed copy of the paperwork after delivery. | No |
| Sameday delivery | Requests same-day delivery where the carrier supports it. | No |
| Open on receipt | Lets the buyer open and check the parcel before paying or accepting it. | No |
| Drop-off locker | Says that you will drop the parcel into a locker rather than waiting for a collection. No courier comes to your address. | No |
| Insured delivery | A checkbox rather than a dropdown. Declares the shipment insured. | Off |
Step 4 — Printing and advanced options
Two collapsed sections sit at the bottom of the form. Neither is required, and the defaults are sensible — open them only if one of the settings below applies to you.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Paper size and Scale type | Apply only when you print through the easySales Printer desktop app, and override the printer's own defaults for this courier. Leave both on "Use printer default" if you print from the browser. |
| Generate packages based on the number of packages of the product | Builds the AWB with as many parcels as the products in the order declare between them, instead of one. |
| Download only first parcel | For a multi-parcel AWB, downloads just the first label. Available on eMAG Romania only. |
| Save AWB PDF locally when generated | Keeps a copy of the label file in easySales when it is created. |
Shipping from more than one address
One connection describes one pick-up point. If you dispatch from several warehouses, add a connection for each: open the ⋮ menu on the eMAG tile and choose Connect another courier account. The Clone button inside a saved connection does the same thing and copies the values you already filled in.
Generating AWBs
| Quick Create | Create AWB | |
|---|---|---|
| Where | The Quick Create button on the orders list | The AWBs section of the order's own page |
| What you choose | Courier, connection and package type — nothing else | Everything below, on top of the same three |
| Shipment | Defaults | Envelopes, parcels, total weight, cash-on-delivery value, insured value |
| Per parcel | — | Length, height, width and weight for each parcel, plus pallet dimensions |
| Services | As saved on the connection | Saturday, sameday, open on receipt and return documents, per shipment |
| Addresses | As on the order | Customer and delivery details can be corrected before the label is issued |
| Notes | — | Observations printed on the AWB |
If eMAG finds more than one locality matching the delivery address, it refuses the quick AWB and asks you to use the advanced window, where you can pick the exact locality yourself.
What this courier cannot do
Three limits come from eMAG's own API rather than from easySales, and they surprise sellers who have used other couriers here:
- No price estimate. Other couriers show an estimated cost in the courier dropdown; eMAG offers no such call, so the figure stays empty.
- AWBs cannot be cancelled from easySales. Cancel the shipment in your eMAG account instead.
- AWBs cannot be generated in bulk for grouped orders. Each order gets its own AWB.
