How to connect Okazii with easySales: a complete setup guide
Connect Okazii to easySales: the connection settings, your Feed URL and how to set it up on Okazii, which offers actually reach the feed, and how orders, invoices and AWBs travel back.
How the Okazii integration works
Okazii is not connected the way most marketplaces are, and knowing this saves a lot of confusion later.
Your offers are never pushed to Okazii. easySales builds an XML file — the feed — and publishes it at a private address. Okazii fetches that file on its own schedule and imports whatever is in it. That is the only route your products, prices and stock take.
Orders come back the other way, over Okazii's API, using a token from your Okazii account. easySales also sends the invoice and the AWB number back for each order.
So the setup has two halves: one in easySales, one in the Okazii panel. Neither works without the other.
Before you start
An Okazii seller account
With access to the store administration area, because half of this setup happens there.
Your Okazii API Token
In the Okazii panel, in the store administration area, under the API settings. Copy only the numeric part. Without it easySales cannot read a single order.
Products ready to sell
Each one needs a name, a SKU, at least one image, a price of 0.10 or more and stock above zero. Anything missing keeps the product out of the feed — see the checks further down.
A decision about VAT
Default Tax Rate on the connection is what tells easySales whether your Okazii prices carry VAT. Know which it is before you save.
Step 1 — Connect Okazii in easySales
Go to Configuration → Integrations → Marketplaces, search for Okazii and open the card.
Fill in the form on the right.
| Field | What to put in it |
|---|---|
| Connection Name | Required. Your own name for this Okazii account. With more than one account these become the tabs. |
| New order custom status | Optional. A status of your own to put every incoming Okazii order into. |
| Price Addition | Required. A percentage added to the product price when an offer is created. It is stored on the offer at that moment, so changing it later does not reprice offers that already exist. |
| Default shipping tax | The VAT rate applied to the shipping line of an imported order. |
| Default Tax Rate | Required, and more important than it looks — see below. |
| Invoice Series | Required. The series used when an invoice is created for an Okazii order. It can still be changed per order. |
| Implicit package type | Envelope or Parcel, used as the default on AWBs for these orders. |
| Description type | Whether the feed carries your product description or one generated from the product's characteristics. Okazii does not accept HTML. |
| API Token | Required. From the store administration area of your Okazii account, under the API settings — copy only the numeric part. |
The rest of the form controls how your products are described in the feed.
- Size attributes and Color attributes tell easySales which of your product characteristics carry size and colour, so variants are grouped into one Okazii listing instead of several.
- Insert characteristics into feed adds every product characteristic to the file.
- Automatically enable offers when products have stock switches an offer back on by itself once the product is back in stock.
Step 2 — Copy your Feed URL
Once the connection is saved, the left-hand column shows the Feed URL. It looks like https://app.easy-sales.com/feed/12345/487213904/okazii.xml, and each connected Okazii account has its own.
Both Regenerate URL and Add account — for a second Okazii account, with its own settings and its own Feed URL — live in the card's ⋮ menu.
Step 3 — Point Okazii at the feed
This half happens in the Okazii panel, whose interface is Romanian.
- Open Meniu → Administrează Magazin (or Setări → Magazin → Administrare).
- Go to Administrează articole → Import Produse and choose Import Automat.
- Paste your Feed URL into Adaugă URL-ul Feedului.
- Tick Elimină din okazii produsele care nu apar în feed.
- Save with Salvează Opțiunile.
Step 4 — Create your offers
An Okazii offer is created from a product you already have in easySales. Open Products, select the products you want and use Add offer(s) on in the toolbar — or Add offer on a single row — and pick Okazii.
Which of your offers actually reach Okazii
This is the question behind almost every "Okazii only imported a handful of my products" problem. An offer is written into the feed file only if all four of these are true:
| Condition | Where you see it |
|---|---|
| The offer is Enabled | The Status toggle on the offers row. |
| The offer is Linked to a product | The Linked line under the offer name. |
| That product's stock is above zero | The Stock line under the offer name. |
| The offer has no blocking error | The Errors column. |
You can see all four at a glance on Marketplaces → Offers → Okazii.
An offer that fails validation is switched off and the reason is shown in the Errors column.
| Error | What to fix |
|---|---|
1000 Missing product name
|
The product has no name. |
1001 Missing product sku
|
The product has no SKU. |
1004 Invalid product price
|
The sale price is below 0.10. |
1005 Invalid images data
|
The offer's images are not in a usable form. Re-save the images on the product. |
1006 Missing product images
|
The product has no image at all. This is by far the most common one. |
How long a change takes to appear
easySales rebuilds the feed file at most once an hour, and normally only after Okazii has read the previous version. Okazii then has to run its own import. In practice a newly added offer usually appears after Okazii has fetched the file twice, so allow a couple of hours rather than expecting it immediately.
Categories
The offer's Category is a plain piece of text, taken once from the first category the product belongs to. easySales does not hold Okazii's category tree, so the matching from your category names to Okazii's own categories is done inside Okazii, under Administrare Articole → Administrare Catalog.
To change the text easySales sends, edit it in easySales — on the offer itself (Marketplaces → Offers → Okazii → Edit) or, for many at once, Mass Edit → Edit category and characteristics. The category is captured when the offer is created and is not refreshed afterwards, so changing the product's categories later does not change what the feed says.
Orders
New Okazii orders are picked up about once a minute, with a wider catch-up pass a few times a day. If you need to reach further back, the connection page has Options → Synchronize orders, which accepts a range of up to 30 days.
| What | Direction | How |
|---|---|---|
| Products, prices, stock | easySales → Okazii | The XML feed, which Okazii fetches. |
| Orders | Okazii → easySales | Okazii's API, using your API Token. |
| The invoice PDF | easySales → Okazii | Sent automatically once the invoice is created. |
| The AWB number | easySales → Okazii | Sent when you create the shipping label. Creating it also marks the order finalised in easySales. |
| Order status | nothing | Statuses are never sent back. |
| Existing Okazii listings | nothing | They are never imported into easySales. |
When orders stop arriving
If there is no error banner and orders simply never arrive, check the API Token on the connection first. A connection saved before the token became required looks completely normal — it shows as connected, the feed keeps working — but no orders are ever fetched and nothing warns you.
Then work down this list for a product that is not on Okazii:
- Is the offer Enabled?
- Is it Linked to a product?
- Does that product have stock above zero?
- Does the offer show an error?
- Is the Feed URL in Okazii the current one?
